About Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT)

Karndean and Amtico are brands of Luxury Vinyl Tiles, amongst many other brands available they are the two of the best known.

Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) are quite unique, they offer an extremely hardwearing surface with a vast range of very realistic looks, wood, stone, ceramic tile with various design options including boarders and bespoke patterns. Naturally warm under foot and extremely tolerant of moisture and heavy wear.

LVT floors are an excellent choice and need minimal maintenance, however due to the realistic designs and patterns they do trap dirt in the riven areas, this can be difficult to shift. Some floors also come with a dressing on that wears and peels in time, this dressing can be stripped of and re-applied if necessary.

Our Cleaning Process

First, we assess the most effective and suitable solution to deal with your floor. If grease is the main issue, or general dirt tracking in, different solutions and procedures are required to get the very best results. We only ever use approved products on your floor.

Having determined the best solutions, we pre-treat an area of your floor, we then agitate the solutions using our specialist tile master machine, whilst aggressive enough to shift the dirt, its gentile enough not to damage the surface. This step ensures our solutions get deep into every crevice of your floor and removes all surface dirt, grease and marks from your floor.

The next step is to rinse the solutions off your floor, taking all the solutions and dirt with it whilst neutralising your floor. This is where we use our powerful van mounted extraction machine, we proceed to rinse your floor at around 800psi of pressure without making as much as a splash.

We then fully dry your floor by hand and with the use of air movers and if required apply a dressing.
